OUR CSR METHODOLOGY
Implementation
The company has outlined its plans to carry out its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives through various channels.Â
These may include utilizing company staff, working with charitable trusts, engaging external implementing agencies, or collaborating with other registered trusts and societies.
 This approach allows the company to diversify its efforts and make a positive impact within the community through multiple avenues.
Governance
The CSR Committee will present a CSR Plan annually for the Board’s approval, outlining programs and budgets.Â
The Board will review and approve the plan, making any necessary modifications. Implementation will be delegated to selected individuals or groups, with progress reported regularly.
The CSR Committee will review the progress periodically, provide guidance, and keep the Board updated.Â
At the end of each financial year, the CSR Committee will submit a report to the Board.
CSR Expenditure
CSR expenditure will include all permissible expenditures under applicable laws, including contributions to the corpus for CSR programs approved by the Board on the recommendation of the CSR Committee.Â
It does not include any expenditure on items not in line with activities covered under Schedule VII of the Act.
CSR Budget CONTRIBUTION
OM STEEL TUBES LIMITED will spend at least 2% of the average net profits made by the company during the three immediately preceding financial years.Â
Unspent CSR funds in a particular year will be carried forward to the next year for CSR activities only.
